Your Quebec City Guide
I moved to Quebec City in 2011. I worked in restaurants here for over 10 years, which means I've seen this city's food scene from both sides of the kitchen door and I developed some pretty strong opinions along the way.
I've traveled through Asia and Europe, eaten street food and Michelin-starred tasting menus, and Quebec City still surprises me. We have an extraordinary culinary scene here. Passionate chefs, incredible local producers, neighborhood spots that have been quietly perfecting their recipes for decades.
But here's the thing, a lot of what makes this city special isn't always easy to find if you don't know where to look. And it breaks my heart every time I see a visitor miss out on something genuinely extraordinary just because they didn't know it existed.
My beautiful city deserves better than that.
Quebec City is so much more than the Château Frontenac and poutine on Grande Allée. There are neighborhoods with real character, restaurants where the chef has been perfecting the same dish for 15 years, local products you've never heard of, and corners of this city that most visitors never even know exist. That's the Quebec City I want to show you.
Think of me as your friend who lives here. The one who texts you a list of places before your trip, tells you where to actually go, and saves you from wasting a single meal or afternoon on something that isn't worth it.
Your Quebec City Guide is built to give you exactly that. Local knowledge, honest recommendations, and the insider version of this city you won't find on Google. Starting with food, because that's what I know best.
